Jason has grown up in Newquay and has worked in the hospitality all his life due to his Grandfather running a hotel in Newquay throughout his childhood. He is married with two teenage children, enjoys a family BBQ (he fits right in here then with our Sunday BBQ’s!) loves ScFi movies and joins in on the banter with his friends when socialising. So now we know a little bit of background on Jason, we thought we would pick his brains and get to know him that little bit better...
How long have you worked for us?
About 4 years. I worked as the General Manager for Boringdon Hall and I was also Bar Manager at Fistral beach Hotel (and now he is here so that’s 3/3 of our Hotels for Jason!)
What are you passionate about?
Giving our guests the best customer care possible.
What’s your top tip for holiday-goers?
Arrive early, stay late!

Little Fistral or Polly Joke.
What do you love about Newquay the most?
The view from the memorial on Towan Head as you can see all Newquay beaches, harbour, farms and clay tips – everything in Cornwall in one spot.
What will you not travel without?
Used to be 3 big books, now it’s a Kindle!

Xbox one games night on a massive screen with a lazy boy chair, waiter service, BBQ and coke floats.

Room 116 – perfect room for a family; separate room for kids and a balcony area to sit out on.
What do you love the most about your job?
Seeing the staff do their jobs to the fullest and happy happy guests.
