The Nettleton Collection, a collection of hotels in the South West, has told Boutique Hotelier of plans to launch a new management consultancy venture for 2018.
The group, which runs Boringdon Hall Hotel and Fistral Beach Hotel among others, has created Philema Hospitality Management, which will be available to hotel owners this year on a consultancy basis or as a complete management solution.
The brand says that it knows its most valuable asset is its people, and therefore has invested significantly in making the company’s pool of knowledge, passion and diligence available to other hoteliers through the launch of the new management arm.
Alongside this, James Nettleton, director of the business told BH of plans for Plymouth’s five-star Boringdon Hall, Fistral Beach Hotel and the Esplanade Hotel, with expansions and developments on the cards for all three establishments.
He says: “The plan for 2018 is to continue investing in this success throughout the company. At the five-star Boringdon Hall, we are creating two new luxury bedroom suites, plus a yoga studio.
“At the Fistral Beach Hotel, we plan to double the size of Fistral Spa and create a further 15 self-catering apartments. At the Esplanade Hotel we are having a comprehensive refurb throughout to capitalise on the increasing demand for quality family hotels in Newquay.”
The group will also invest in training and development for all its employees and create the Gaia Spa Academy on the back of the spa’s launch last year.
