Boringdon Hall unveil new wellness rooms and suites.

5* Boringdon Hall launch new wellness rooms & suites and launch exclusive spa break.

We’re thrilled to share the news of our award-winning Boringdon Hall’s launch of their new sleep spaces with a focus on wellbeing following an investment of £3 million for the development.

The rooms are a welcomed addition to the renowned hotel nestled onto the edge of Dartmoor, which is one of only a few hotels in the UK with both a MICHELIN star restaurant and a spa offering.

Mixing luxury with health, the 12 wellness rooms and 2 wellness suites are sleep spaces for those looking to nurture their wellness in calming and peaceful surroundings. A further relaxation room, featuring an outdoor sunken hot tub, has also opened holding daily yoga, Pilates, and fitness classes all of which are complimentary to hotel guests, as well as being a space for guests to relax pre- and post-treatment.

The two wellness suites each feature a spacious bedroom with a four-poster bed, lounge area with fireplace, a luxurious rain shower, a free-standing indoor bathtub in the bathroom, balcony with seating area and a private outdoor spa bath from William Holland.

Each wellness room features a large sleeping space, private decked balcony and outdoor seating area, freestanding bathtub in the bedroom and separate rainfall shower.

Equipped with the expected hotel necessities such as robes and spa amenities from premium skincare brand GAIA the new rooms and suites offer an array of health & wellness amenities for use including yoga mats, mindful literature and wellness care kits, aiding each guest to become relaxed, grounded and feel present during their stay.

Inspired by the manor’s grounds and countryside location, the colour palette and textures chosen for the interiors of the new rooms and suites harness nature, that of Mother Gaia, boasting natural elements and neutral colours throughout.

The lighting design has been carefully calibrated to create a serene ambiance including designs from the iconic Tom Raffield, whilst large floor to ceiling windows will bring the outside in, flooding rooms with light. In addition, walls throughout the new build will be home to living moss, naturally contributing in a more sustainable way to remove toxins from the air and replace with clean, fresh oxygen.

Conveniently located near Gaia Spa, the rooms allow guests to slowly wander and enjoy breakfast or brunch in the spa’s relaxed Spatisserie restaurant. Boasting two outside terraces overlooking Dartmoor, the calming dining space gives guests the opportunity to sit and soak in the picturesque views whilst enjoying a menu of nourishing dishes.

Guests have access to Boringdon’s award-winning spa, Gaia (referring to the Goddess of nature in Greek mythology) which offers a truly magical swimming experience in a stunning, natural setting. Floor-to-ceiling windows surround the indoor pool, providing peaceful vistas of the trees, and an inter-connecting outdoor hydrotherapy pool that allow visitors to swim seamlessly from inside to out. The spa, named “Best Destination Spa” by Condé Nast Johansen in 2022, 2020 and 2018, also boasts a Crystal Salt Steam Room, Herbal Sauna, Experience Showers, Outdoor Hot Tubs, Treatment Rooms, and a Deep Relaxation Room.

Guests can opt for a selection of luxurious GAIA treatments* during their stay including facials, massages and scrubs, as well as longer, step-by-step holistic treatments known as GAIA rituals. Targeting different problem areas of the body and mind, various GAIA rituals are available including GAIA Crystal Therapy; using personalised crystals, and GAIA Raindrop Therapy; using pure essential oils. All treatments use the award-winning, organic and all-natural GAIA Skincare products, which were developed in-house at the spa.

In addition, the hotel has launched a new ‘Hypnos’ wellness break, exclusive to the new rooms and suites including:
